LAGOS NSCDC AFFIRMS UNFLINCHING SYNERGY WITH FEDERAL ROAD SAFETY CORPS, CAUTIONS CITIZENS ON OVERSPEEDING.
The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro yesterday, Tuesday, 13th August, 2024, received the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Lagos State Command, Corps Commander Patrick Davou and some members of his management team in his office situated, at Alahusa – Ikeja.
At the aforementioned meeting, the Lagos State Commandant affirmed the Corps’ unflinching synergy with the Federal Road Safety Corps ( FRSC ) in the state.
However, the Lagos State Commandant also assured, to continue to render good operational services to the FRSC especially, to boost their morale and give back up during, some necessary assignments. He believed that these efforts will further help to drastically, reduce avoidable road crashes, enhance safety and reduce mortality, on our roads, which are often caused as a result of over speeding leading to ghastly, motor accidents .
The Sector commander, FRSC, Lagos State Command, Corps Commander Patrick Davou also said that amidst other things, overspending is at the top of factors necessitating road crashes and its preceding ugly and gory consequences. He warned motorists against the act and tasked them to take caution at all times.
The Lagos Sector Commander also seized, the opportunity to appreciate the NSCDC, for its long standing synergy with their service in the state . He however, requested for more in a bid to also fight other areas of illegality done with the use of all kind of vehicles on our roads et ce tera.
